Dunstall, Staffordshire, 17 December 2010 : Climbing Kilimanjaro is the most fantastic charity challenge and each year sees fundraisers come up with crazy new ways to make climbing Africa’s highest summit even more fun. Men in Savile Row Suits; Man United fans demonstrating against the Glazers; ladies in 5 inch scarlet stilettos and of course the odd “Red Nose” have all made it to Uhuru Peak raising thousands for good causes.

Entrants can nominate themselves by coming up with an idea for fun and original climb and the winner gets a free Kilimanjaro climb and other goodies from Nomad Travel and Dogtag Insurance worth over £1500 to get their fundraising efforts to a flying start.

If they don’t fancy climbing themselves then they can also nominate a friend who would like to do the climb - they get to choose the challenge so they really can get creative. If their idea wins AND their friend is up for the challenge they get £100 for a charity of their choice and their friend gets the prize to go towards fundraising for their chosen charity.

The prize for the winning idea is

A short list of the best 5 ideas will be published on our WEBSITE and on FACEBOOK on 28th February and the winner will be the finalist with the most of the public’s votes on what they think is best. The winner of the public vote will be announced on 31st March.
